Structural shifts in economy through formation and development of high-tech types of production based on the innovation process

This paper deals with the grounds for establishment and development high-tech types of production by employing the innovation process. The author emphasizes the fact that contribution and creation of conditions for development of high-tech types of productions cannot but ensure significant positive structural shifts, virtually, throughout all the sectors of the national economy. With this in mind, the main criteria of structural shifts have been determined and presented.
