The Manuscript Review Process

1. All manuscripts received by the Editorial Board of Tomsk State University Journal of Economics and meeting its standards are peer reviewed.

2. The Chairperson of the Editorial Board or the Deputy sends the manuscript to a reviewer of the Journal.

3. The review is made on a specific Manuscript Review Form. It takes the maximum of two months to have the manuscript reviewed.

4. The review is sent to the executive secretary of the Journal.

5. After the review process is complete the Editorial Board takes the following action:

5.1. If the review states, “The manuscript can be accepted for publication,” the manuscript is approved and accepted for publication.

5.2. If the review states, “The manuscript cannot be accepted for publication, see p. 6 of the review for reasons,” the Editorial Board decides on whether to reject the manuscript or send it to be revised by the author, which is a one-time measure.

5.3. If the review states, “The manuscript can be accepted for publication with minor changes, see p. 6 of the review for recommendations,” the Editorial Board sends the manuscript to the author for revision. The revised manuscript is sent to the Editorial Board for the final decision.

6. The executive secretary of the Journal informs the authors about the Editorial Board.
