Evaluation of socio-economic development implementation of Murmansk region until 2020 and for the period up to 2025

The article presents actualization directions of the socio-economic development strategy of the Murmansk region till 2020 and for the period of 2025. (Further - the Strategy). For the directions determination a number of research activities were held. Strategic planning documents were subjected to analysis in their original and corrected versions. Also, the implementation of the Strategy report for 2014 had been studied. Implementation of the Strategy results including the main socio-economic indicators of the Russian Federation subject during the reporting period (2013-2015) were compared with predicted values specified in the Implementation Strategy Plan of the Murmansk region till 2025. To identify socio-economic development problems of Murmansk region data, based on the main indicators of socio-economic development for the period from 2010 to 2012 were systematized and analyzed. Moreover, the problematics of strategic development priorities of the region were compared with ones predicted in the Strategy. Taking into account the obtained summary data characterizing the socio-economic situation, was carried out its comparison with the Strategy measures to identify the degree of problems reflection. To form the general concept of the Strategy results for the first phase have been analyzed the implementation of the Plan for 2014 data and the changes, supplementing its content with the socio-economic development trends of the region. With due consideration of the region development problematics based on the comparison of the main socio-economic indicators data and the updated up to 2025 forecast data directions were identified for updating the Strategy and improving the quality of the strategic planning documents development.
