Perspective evaluation of the reclamation of Eastern Siberia Kuonam suite shale oil in modern conditions

The research topic applicability is due to study and evaluation of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves of the Kuonam suite in the Russian Federation needs. The purpose of the work is to review geological and geophysical properties of hydrocarbon deposits of the Kuonam suite, to assess an shale oil deposits development profitability in modern conditions with the help of the cost-effectiveness index of such deposits reclamation developed by specialists of SNIIGGiMS, to substantiate the need for setting a test range for known technologies for "unconventional" oil extraction on the sediments of the Kuonam suite. The analysis of oil price structure was used as a research method in the context of future expenses, subtractions and free cash balance for the development of economic indicators. Based on the analysis of the geological and physical properties of the Kuonam suite deposits in Eastern Siberia, a conventional sections separation of the black shale deposits was carried out and a primary technological test site was established to approbate the technologies for the "unconventional" oil development. The cost-effectiveness index was represented, so it made it possible to estimate the profitability of deposits exploitation of the Kuonam suite in Eastern Siberia.
