The method of open interview in the study of intra-bank motivational systems

The specific features of research conducted in companies and focused on increasing the effectiveness of its activities are discussed in the article. The opposition of descriptive studies to normative, stemming from the belief in the positivistic paradigm, allows us to justify the role of qualitative methods in the study of economic reality. The author also discusses the need to transform the criterion of objectivity, conditioned by the requirements of the subjective paradigm, the appeal to which is inevitable if we want to discover specific features of socio-economic phenomena. The theoretical conclusions are illustrated by the practice of conducting a qualitative research aimed at improving the system of assessing the work of employees in a regional branch of one bank.
