Development of agricultural production in the region: fearability and opportunities

The article analyzes the state of agriculture in Russia and substantiates the importance of increasing the efficiency of domestic agricultural production. The authors, with the use of official statistics, conducted a comparative analysis of indicators that characterize the results of agricultural production in various regions of Russia, and an analysis of their dependence on the agroclimatic potential of a particular region. It considers how investments in fixed capital of agriculture are distributed across regions of the country, and a discrepancy is revealed between the capabilities of the regions in the implementation of effective agricultural production and the level of investment in the industry. It was concluded that from the point of view of improving the efficiency of domestic agricultural production, preferential investments in agriculture in regions with high agro-climatic potential and the feasibility of developing agricultural production in these regions. The article analyzes the current state of agriculture in the Republic of Adygea, a region with a very high agro-climatic potential, but a very low level of investment in agriculture. The necessity of taking measures aimed at improving the efficiency and competitiveness of the industry, searching for internal reserves for the development of agricultural production in the region has been substantiated. The factors that impede efficient agricultural production in the republic are identified, promising areas are designated and measures for the development of the Adygea agrarian economy are proposed.
