Application of cluster analysis to the assessment of technological criteria in European economic integration
This paper provides an evaluation of current state of economic integration in EU and reveals homogeneity among the country-members and nature of convergence processes between them. The present economic imbalances in EU countries emphasize the relevance of identifying key determinants that affect long-term economic growth. With this regard, based on coreperiphery model prerequisites author presents an assessment of technological dimension in economic development of EU with the use of cluster analysis instruments.
