Reloading Industrial Policy: Social and Environmental Aspects

Main directions of reloading (renewing) the industrial policy of the Russian Federation are considered along with the role of the environmental industrial policy in enhancing the sustainability and competitiveness of the national industry. The key principles of the environmental industrial policy are proposed: support of sustainable development, transfer to circular economy, increase of technological complexity, application of non-financial motivation instruments, and transparency in a digital society. The characteristic features of each principle are considered; their coherence with the priority national goals and objectives as well as with the internationally approved sustainable development goals are demonstrated.
