Motivating staff in times of crisis

The crisis in theeconomy threatens the company not only with financial problems and loss of its market position butalso with the loss of skilled personnel, without whom it is impossible to overcome the crisis. Retentionof key employees is one of the major challenges for the company's management during the crisis.However, leaders of the majority of Russian enterprises concentrate on the production management,marketing, finances, giving insufficient attention to the improvement of the system of staff motivation.The article considers the features of staff motivation in time of crisis, principles and methods ofmaterial and non-material motivation, justifies its importance to the enterprise.
