The role of social capital in the process of formation and realization of humancapital
This paper presents a comparative analysis ofthe key concepts of social capital and the author's approach to this category. Disclosed the essence ofinteraction of institutions of human and social capital. Particular attention is paid to the disclosure ofthe role of social capital in the process of formation and realization of human capital. Analyzed thepeculiarities of social capital in countries with economies in transition. Revealed the negative effects ofexternal social capital in terms of «institutional vacuum».
