The institutional mechanism of interaction between the government and large corporations as a factor of their innovative behaviour
The article approaches institutional peculiarities of the interaction between the government and large corporations as one of the factors defining the constituent framework of their innovative activity. In Russia, the institutional mechanism of interaction between the government and corporations is structured in a network-like pattern based on informal personal connections with an active involvement of corruption mechanisms. This causes the reproduction of a closed and self-sustained institutional and organisational system of corporate property relations. Within the framework of this system, private interests of the political and economic elite subordinate internal property relations and business relations, and they also deform correspondingly the institutional environment with a view to gaining unlimited profit from corporate property objects to the detriment of interests of other parties. The result of such relations is a low activity of subjects of corporate property on the integration of industrial innovations and technological modernization.
