MOTIONS OF ULTRADISPERSED PARTICLES IN A TWISTED SECTION OF A RING CHANNEL.

The paper deals with the centrifugation process for ultradispersed particles in a ring channel with a spinning section. The mathematical model of their motion in the Stokesian resistance model takes into account the Cunningham correction for finiteness of the Knudsen number. An explicit-implicit scheme was constructed to perform calculations in a wide range of varying time steps. To verify calculation accuracy, an analytical solution to the problem of transverse displacement of a particle is given. A good agreement of numerical and analytical solutions has been obtained.
