Influense of the circulation zone on settling velocity of fine particle in bidisperse suspension

The circulation zone formed behind a spherical partide under a flow around it in incompressible fluid is investigated on the base of numerical simulation. The ^rcase in the settling verity of fine partides in joint sedimentation of small and large partides due to the fiction of small partides that are in the hydro-dynamic wake of large ones is estimated.
