Features of elastic deformation processes in auxetic monocrystalline VGM8 alloys under shock loading
The paper presents the results of numerical simulation of the loading of cylindrical bodies from a single-crystal alloy VZhM8 used in the blades of gas turbine engines. In both cases, the loading directions coincided with the [001] directions, the other two coordinate axes were located in the (001) plane. We considered two cases of the location of these axes in the plane (001). It is shown that the rotation of the calculated coordinate system leads to different results. The resulting difference in the results of calculations reflects the change in the physic mechanical properties of the single crystal in different directions when the computational coordinate system is rotated, including the manifestation of auxetism.
