Plasma flows of high-current discharge in a capillary and their propagation across of magnetically insulated line
The paper presents the results of a study of the characteristics of plasma flows formed by high-current discharges in capillaries made of polyethylene, teflon and ceramics, which allow the formation of high-velocity plasma flows of high density. The effect of the initial voltage on the capillary, the growth rate of the current and its amplitude on the parameters of the generated plasma bunches and on the service life of the capillaries from the studied dielectrics is shown. Experimental results on the propagation of bunches in the crossed electric and magnetic fields of a magnetically insulated transmission line are presented.
