Electrization of the side surface of a Z-cut lithium niobate single crystal at pyroelectric effect
The presence of electrification of the lateral surfaces of a Z-oriented lithium niobate sample with the pyroelectric effect has been experimentally shown. The features of the electric current flowing through the side faces of a lithium niobate single crystal are described depending on the grounding pattern of the sample, the rate of change of its temperature, and the orientation of the polar axes. Also, the effect of grounding of side faces on the effect of x-ray generation in the pyroelectric effect has been experimentally shown.
