Autowave plasticity of metals and their position in the periodic table of elements
The general laws of the localized plastic flow development are described for the linear work hardening stages of nineteen various metals. The correlations are established and discussed between the element position in the Periodic table of elements and the parameters of autowave process of localized plastic flow in them. Observed correlations indicate on the existence of the close bond between localized plastic flow in deforming medium with the lattice characteristics of the elements and their electron structures.
