Determination of the gallium arsenide life time influence on the efficiency of continuous and pulse generation and detection of radiation of the terahertz frequency range

A configuration and test samples of photoconductive dipole antennas based on SI-GaAs: Cr and LT-GaAs for terahertz radiation generation and detection were developed. Their operating characteristics in pulsed mode and in the mode of operation as photomixers was experimentally investigated.
