Intersubband electron-electron interactions in two-dimensional electron gas
We report the results of studies of electron - electron relaxation processes in the system strongly degenerated 2D electrons with the fine structure of the energy spectrum and the spatial distribution of the electron density. For heavily doped heterojunction when the two subband are filled, we found expressions for the time of electron - electron interactions inside and intersubband, defined matrix elements of a complete screening of the potential and the polarization function in the approximation far from the long-wavelength limit. It is shown that the oscillations of temperature and concentration dependence of the electron - electron interactions are associated with the excitation of plasma oscillations components of 2D electron system.
