Calculation of the precision parameters of the cosmic microwave background radiation in the Starobinsky inflation model
The Starobinsky model of cosmological inflation is revisited and used to calculate the precision parameters of the power spectrum of scalar perturbations of the cosmic microwave background radiation, beyond the leading terms with respect to the (inverse) e-foldings number. Both analytical and numerical approaches are employed. A generalization of the Mukhanov-Chibisov formula for the spectral index of scalar perturbations of the cosmic microwave background radiation is found up to the cubic terms with respect to the inverse e-foldings number.
