Resonant interaction of air flow with bending vibrations of a finite elastic plate
The resonant interaction of gravitational waves on the surface of a liquid with a shear aerodynamic flow leading to the development of wind instability is studied. The conditions of their amplification and non-transmission are found. The spectrum of complex frequencies of gravitational oscillations of a liquid located in a limited pool is determined. Estimates of the main parameters of wind instability are obtained.
