Influence of local thermal vibrations on generation of chemo-electrons in hetero structures
The influence of local thermal vibrations of the crystal, initiated by the action of the chemical reaction energy of adsorption of hydrogen atoms on the surface of the «catalyst», on the rate of generation of high-energy electrons is theoretically investigated. The formulas for the efficiency of the chemo-generator are obtained, refining the corresponding formulas from other works. The significant role of thermally stimulated transitions of electrons to the conduction band of the semiconductor at high temperatures is indicated.
