Exciplex electroluminescence of zinc complex with hole-transport material
The results of theoretical and experimental studies of the exciplex formation for the zinc complex Zn (DFP-SAMQ)2 with the hole-transport layer NPD are presented. It is shown that in the excited state at least three different arrangements of Zn(DFP-SAMQ)2 and NPD molecules lead to the formation of charge-transfer long-wavelength emission bands. Moreover, such systems are unstable in the ground state.
