Scientific-methodical approaches of physical and chemical processes characteristics measurement in condensed media under exposure to laser radiation and its experimental realization
Scientific methodological approaches and an experimental setup designed to study nonlinear physicochemical processes are presented. Accompanying the effects of lasers operating in different spectral regions (UV, visible and IR) on solids of various classes (including energy materials) can be studied at this experimental setup. The possibility of synchronous multiparameter measurements with a nanosecond time resolution of amplitude, spectral, kinetic and spatial characteristics of the glow of near-surface and extensional laser plasma, solid phase luminescence, acoustic pulses appearing in the bulk of the samples and the morphology of residual damage has been demonstrated. The energy density on the irradiated targets surface varied from mJ/cm2 to 104 J/cm2 depending on the task. The spectral interval recorded for one irradiation pulse is 200-1100 nm, the spectral resolution is ~ 1.5 nm, and the spatial resolution is ~ 10 μm. The pressure pulse appearing in the sample volume was recorded by an acoustic sensor with a sensitivity of 0.15 V / bar and a temporal resolution of ~ 5 ns.
