Physico-mechanical properties of composites Cu - 20 wt. % W, obtained by shock-wave compacting of bicomponent nanoparticles
The influence of the parameters of the shock-wave compaction on powders from bicomponent Cu-W nanoparticles is considered. The structure and phase composition of bicomponent nanoparticles are investigated. Shock-wave compaction allows one to obtain sufficiently dense compacts from Cu-W nanoparticles. The analysis of structure and physico-mechanical properties of composites is carried out. It was revealed that a decrease in pressure and an increase in the duration of shock-wave compaction can significantly increase the hardness and mechanical properties of сomposite under compression.
