Orientational ordering of tree elements in the dielectric permeability model of tree stand
The dielectric characteristics of trees in the model of dielectric constant of a tree stand for signals of navigation satellites of the L1 range are considered. The contribution of orientational ordering of tree elements and wood anisotropy e to the effective dielectric constant of the forest is estimated. The crown layer has a height dependence of the anisotropy Δe due to changes in the magnitude of the elements of the orientational ordering tensor of the branches. The anisotropy gradients of the trunk layer are determined by the dependence on the height of the volume of wood in a single tree and the distribution of tree heights in the forest.
