Knocking by protons of nuclear clusters with considering the excited states of fragments
In this work, on the basis of the cluster model of the nucleus, the processes of knocking out nucleon clusters by protons are investigated. An expression for the cross section is obtained taking into account the excited states of the clusters. Based on this approach, the effective cross section for direct (p,t) reactions for some rare-earth nuclei was calculated. The performed work shows that the inclusion of excited states of clusters is very significant. The contribution of the excited states of the clusters underestimates the values of the effective cross section.
