The effective mass of holes in Ag0.82Sb1.18Te2.18 and AgSbTe2

The temperature dependences of the Hall coefficients and thermoelectric power in Ag0.82Sb1.18Te2.18 and AgSbTe2 in the temperature range 4.2-320 K have been studied. It was established that Hall coefficient in Ag0.82Sb1.18Te2.18 is independent on the magnetic field, while in AgSbTe2 a weak dependence on magnetic field is observed. The effective masses of holes m *= 0.61 m 0 in Ag0.82Sb1.18Te2.18 was determined.
