Sorption activity of silver nanoparticles on polished and standard catgut
In the work, the features of the interaction of catgut and silver nanoparticles were investigated depending on the processing of the fiber surface and the time of its exposure in Ag-containing gels (for 1 hour and 24 hours). It was found that the maximum sorption of silver nanoparticles in the size range from 1 to 10 nm is observed in polished catgut after one day of exposure, whereas on the untreated catgut surface only during incubation for 24 hours in Ag-containing gel with nanoparticles obtained by cavitation-diffusion photochemical reduction, An increase in the number of nanoparticles is observed in all size ranges, mainly with a diameter of 1-5 nm. At the same time, the incubation of catgut in Argogel for 1 hour does not allow obtaining a potentially effective concentration of silver nanoparticles on the fiber.
