Formation of luminescing high-temperature ceramics under powerful flux of high-energy electrons

It is shown that a synthesis of MgF2 and YAG: Ce ceramics is realized with a high rate from a charge of a low bulk density in the field of powerful electron flux with an electron energy of 1.4 MeV. The high efficiency of the synthesis is due to the formation under powerful radiation flux of radiolysis products which stimulate solid-phase and gas-phase reactions in the charge.
