Bipolar systems with plasma sources ahead of cathode and at anode

1-D model of electron-ion flow is used for evaluation of coefficient of electron current increase under ion injection from behind the cathode (ion fountain). The influence of self-magnetic field of the beam is discussed. The evaluations of cathode heating by the ions from anode and reflected ions are presented.
