The application of Beale's measure of nonlinearity in problems of estimating the parameters of asteroids motion
The transformation of the nonlinearity estimation algorithm proposed by Beale for use in asteroid problems is performed. Beale's algorithm was tested on model and real asteroids. It is shown that this algorithm gives underestimates of nonlinearity. Modifications of the Beale's measure of nonlinearity are considered to improve its accuracy.
