Radio-absorbing properties of NiCo nanoparticles in the carbon matrix of nanocomposites in the microwave range (in the range of 3-12 GHz)
NiCo/C nanocomposites comprising NiCo alloy nanoparticles uniformly distributed and stabilized in a carbon matrix were synthesized by IR pyrolysis of metal-organic precursors obtained from joint solutions of polyacrylonitrile, Nickel and cobalt chloride hexahydrates in dimethylformamide. The influence of the synthesis temperature and the concentration of metals in the precursor on the size and composition of Nico alloy nanoparticles is considered. Electromagnetic properties of Nico/C nanocomposites in the range of 3-12 GHz are investigated. The influence of synthesis conditions on frequency dependences of reflection and absorption coefficient is studied. It is shown that changes in the synthesis conditions can be controlled by the radio-absorbing properties of NiCo/C nanocomposites.
