Single-layer coatings based on molybdenum and its nitrides deposited by vacuum arc method: synthesis, properties and structure

The coatings based on molybdenum and its nitrides are synthesized by vacuum arc method without plasma assistance and their properties, composition and structure are studied in detail. The effect of nitrogen partial pressure in the gas mixture on the nitrogen concentration in the coating and their properties has been established. The structure and phase composition of molybdenum-based coatings obtained at low partial pressure are studied in detail by X-ray analysis and transmission electron microscopy methods.
