The theory of stimulated brillouin scattering in plasma with two-dimensional localization and inhomogeneity of the pump wave
Mandelstam-Brillouin stimulated scattering in homogeneous and inhomogeneous plasma is considered in the approximation of sound waves strong dissipation, taking into account second harmonic nonlinearity and depletion of the pump wave. It is shown that the simultaneous consideration of two types of nonlinearities in a homogeneous plasma will lead to a decrease in the reflection coefficient. In an inhomogeneous plasma, taking into account the nonlinearity of perturbations of sound waves, even taking into account the depletion of the pump wave, leads to an increase in the scattered radiation and, consequently, to an increase in the reflection coefficient.
