Influence of carbon fibers on the structure and mechanical properties of composite polymer materials obtained by additive technologies
In this work, we investigated products made of composite materials ABS plastic - carbon fiber with a carbon fiber content of up to 10 wt. %, and obtained by extrusion polymer 3D printing. The dependences of the mechanical characteristics of the samples during tensile and bending tests on the content of carbon fiber were investigated, and the structure of the fracture surfaces of the tested samples was investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The physicomechanical properties of polymer samples subjected to aging and composite materials based on this polymer with different content of carbon fiber have been investigated. For the preparation of the composite material, recycled ABS plastic was used, subject to natural aging for 17000 hours. The technological features of the process of obtaining a composite filament are described, a scheme for obtaining a filament is presented, which is optimal from the point of view of achieving the best physical and mechanical properties of the samples.
