The operator of dipole moment and spectral parameters of torsion transitions
Analytical expressions for matrix elements of the dipole moment operator for internal rotation are obtained. Quantitative measures for spectroscopic parameters of transitions associated with specific potential wells on the potential energy surface (conformers) are proposed. The relations found are illustrated by numerical examples and diagrams.
