The influence of compacting the original charge on the radiation synthesis of YAG: Ce ceramics
It has been shown that the morphology of YAG: Ce ceramic samples, synthesized in the field of high-energy electron flux, depends on the degree of compaction of the initial charge of Y, Al, Ce oxides. The fraction of the YAG phase is higher in the samples of ceramics obtained from the compacted charge. The spectral characteristics of the luminescence of samples, synthesized from a mixture of the same composition, does not depend on the degree of compaction.
