Emission spectrum of a diode laser with an external cavity under the combined action of microwave and VHF modulation of the injection current

It has been experimentally demonstrated that the combined action of microwave and VHF modulation of the injection current of a diode laser with an external cavity leads to a multifrequency regime, when the interval between the corresponding components of the structure in the sidebands of the spectrum is determined by the frequency of microwave modulation. The effect of the VHF modulation power on the optical frequency of laser radiation was also found.
