Gruneisen function of alkali metals
The Grüneisen function on density and temperature for alkali metals Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs was determined from the experimental dependences of the shock adiabat, isentrope, and the value of the Grüneisen parameter under normal conditions. The Grüneisen functions have been converted for measurements under static conditions. The calculated functions are compared over a wide range of parameters for various approximations of the equation of state and with static measurements. The proposed method differs from previously published results in the absence of unconfirmed hypotheses.
