Using a digital recording video system for controlling laser radiation parameters
The article describes a method for controlling the laser radiation parameters, based on its registration in the plane of a diffusely reflecting screen and subsequent digital processing of the recorded image. The corresponding algorithm for determining the spatial parameters of the laser beam is presented and implemented in software. Experimental testing was carried out on the basis of a digital high-speed video system and a solid-state repetitively pulsed laser based on a Cr3 +: BeAl2O4 alexandrite crystal. A comparison of the proposed method with a standardized method based on the registration of radiation by a matrix photodetector is presented.
