Study of macroscopic localization of plastic flow in additively produced bimetal
The paper studies the kinetics of macroscopic localization of plastic deformation in a bimetal obtained by electron-beam surfacing of wire from low-carbon steel 09G2S on a substrate of St.3. Mechanical tests according to the scheme of uniaxial tension of flat ones were carried out at a constant rate at room temperature. The mechanical properties and stages of the plastic flow of the bimetal are compared with those of the starting materials. The kinetics of plastic deformation localization zones in different bimetal layers was studied by digital speckle photography.
