Construction of regression dependences describing the mechanical properties of aluminum alloy bands subjected to exposure of the beams of accelerated argon ions

The paper obtained data on the nature of the change in the mechanical properties of cold-worked sheets with a thickness of 1-3 mm from industrial alloys AMg6 (Al-Mg), VD1 (Al-Cu-Mg-Mn), 1441 (Al-Li-Cu-Mg) depending on modes of their radiation annealing by beams of accelerated argon ions in the energy range E = 20-40 keV, at ion current densities j = 100-400 μA/cm2 and fluences F = 1 1015-7.5·1017 cm-2. A multiple (by a factor of 103 or more) acceleration of the annealing process under the conditions of radiation exposure to ion beams compared with the standard intermediate annealing of these alloys has been established. An algorithm has been developed and regression dependences have been constructed that describe the behavior of these properties depending on the irradiation parameters ( E , j , F ). The equations obtained will allow further, without conducting an experiment, to calculate the mechanical properties σu, σ0.2 and δ of the alloys under study for arbitrary values of the parameters E , j , F , with an accuracy determined by the observation error.
