The study of the efficiency of gauss-everhart and lobbie integrators in the problems of asteroid dynamics
The paper presents the study results of the Gauss-Everhart and Lobbie integrators in problems of asteroid dynamics. The objects under study are asteroids with different eccentricities. The cases of the perturbed and unperturbed two-body problem were considered, and the efficiency of solving mixed systems of differential equations was studied additionally. The results showed that both integrators are well suited for problems of asteroid dynamics. However, the Lobbie integrator is more versatile and efficient.
