Influence of CeO2 additives on the physical-chemical and catalytic properties of Ag/Fe2O3 catalysts for deep oxidation of toluene

The influence of CeO2 additives on the physicochemical and catalytic properties of Ag/Fe2O3 catalysts for deep toluene oxidation is considered. It is established that the introduction of CeO2 additive into the carrier composition promotes an increase in the dispersion of oxides, as well as the reactivity of the 1Ce6Fe sample surface. A synergistic effect of catalytic action in the reaction of deep toluene oxidation for the Ag/1Ce6Fe sample is established, consisting in an increase in reactivity due to the interaction of dispersed CeO2 and Fe2O3 oxides and deposited silver.
