On the calculation of the drag coefficient of a well-streamlined body
The paper presents in detail the results of calculating the drag coefficient of a well-streamlined axisymmetric (relative to the direction of continuum flow) solid homogeneous body. All calculations are based on the use of a formal mathematical definition of the coefficient Cx in the form of the ratio of the drag force to the Bernoulli force. In this case, the Mach number is considered small, and the angle of attack is zero. The resulting dependence is illustrated graphically as a function of the Reynolds number, the linear size of the body, the relative size of the body, as well as a number of other parameters included in it.
