On a new boundary condition in the problem of flow around a sphere

The drag force of a ball in the problem of its stationary flow around by a viscous continuum is calculated taking into account the biharmonic term in the right side of the Navier-Stokes equation. In addition to the standard conditions of adhesion to the surface of the ball for velocity, another new boundary condition has been formulated, dictated by the specifics of the Stokes problem which makes it possible to accurately calculate the drag force in an analytical form. A graphic illustration of the obtained formula is given and a good agreement with the results of other authors is noted.
