Numerical simulation of small-sized UAV hovering in the Dryden turbulent atmosphere

UAV hovering in the Dryden turbulent atmosphere is simulated numerically using the dynamic UAV model. The behavior of time series of turbulent wind velocity fluctuations for the UAV and the reference meter is investigated. A methodological error that characterizes the discrepancy between the time series is examined. The turbulence spectra and cross spectra for the UAV and the reference meter are analyzed.
