Analysis of the state of the stress and strain of lithosphere elements along the geological profile «Quartz–1986» on the West Siberian plate
This article is devoted to the research of the state of stress and strain of lithosphere sections on the West Siberian plate. The regions of Western Siberia rich in oil and gas, through which the geological profile «Quartz-1986» is laid, have been selected as the object of research. Two-dimensional structural models of lithosphere sections with different thicknesses have been created based on geological and geophysical data, and the state of stress and strain of the lithosphere and the upper layers of the earth's crust has been calculated. It has been revealed that zones of inelastic deformation and shear stresses in the upper layers of the earth's crust, partially corresponding to the locations of hydrocarbon traps and oil and gas deposits, are localized in the Surgut and Vartovsky arches and the Yugan depression.
