Physical mechanisms of formation and interpretation of the Stokes shift in molecules of organic compounds
The features of the processes of electron relaxation and nonradiative conversion as a result of light absorption in molecules of organic compounds were considered. The physical mechanism of fluorescence as spontaneous emission from an equilibrium state was discussed. The discussion of the features of the formation and interpretation of the Stokes shift was carried out for organic molecules (aniline, sulfanilamide and sulfaguanidine). The electron charge distribution in the studied molecules was proposed to be related to the physical manifestation of de Broglie waves.
